Based in Market Drayton, Spicy Bean Creates is a cute and quirky small business run by artist Lauren, whose work is all about bringing joy, colour, and a touch of whimsy to brighten everyone’s day! Inspired by her love for Japan and Japanese popular culture, Lauren’s designs are bursting with charm and character.

From photo stands to trinket dishes, Croc charms to phone stands, her creations are not only adorable but also useful — perfect little pieces to make you smile while fitting seamlessly into everyday life.

In addition to her handmade products, Lauren runs her own polymer clay workshops for all ages. With a background as a special needs teacher, she’s passionate about inclusion and accessibility, ensuring her workshops are welcoming and adaptable for everyone. She also partners with local charities and organisations to deliver bespoke community sessions, sharing the joy of sculpting and creativity with all.

Lauren is also a Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday (SBS) winner, recognised in September 2025 for her creativity, dedication, and the positivity her work brings to others.
